Colorado Independent Game Developers Association

Colorado Independent Game Developers Association

I founded the Colorado independent Game Developers Association — CiGDA, often pronounced 'sig-dah' — in 2010. It's a free, open, supportive, grassroots group for game developers: artists, designers, coders, musicians, and writers. We meet to learn and share information about independent game development — self-publishing, DIY, bootstrapping, resources, and methods.

What started as six developers in a downtown Denver café has grown to over 1,200 independent devs from across Colorado. Most importantly, the group is an accessible support structure for making self-expressive interactive content, for fun and profit. We never charge to attend meetups or playtest games.

Make games. Share knowledge. Support one another.
