BlazeJam

BlazeJam

The product of a 48-hour game jam I helped organize in Denver, Colorado. The charity raised money and awareness for the Red Cross and local food banks delivering aid to the tens of thousands of victims of the Colorado fires that summer.

The game is set in a fictional future with a retro-futuristic, black-and-white art-deco aesthetic. I was inspired by old cartoons like Felix the Cat and by manga artist Osamu Tezuka, creator of Astro Boy and the manga version of Metropolis.
